“Great location. We wanted seclusion and it did not disappoint. I see some reviews complaining about the road to the house but that is what I loved. The connecting road is a little steep and bumpy but to get away from the crowds or tourists' areas, I can put up with a little rough road. We rented a Jeep because we planned on going to hard-to-reach beaches, etc., and did not have any problems. I do have to mention that the description of the property is not correct on the Vrbo page. “The house, view, garden, and hosts were amazing. Great view of everything from the ocean to the night sky. House was clean and hosts were very informative about location, directions and gave us a great place to explore the rest of the big island.”

“We had an amazing time. The property is incredible. We were reluctant to stay on this part of the island, away from where we thought most things to do were, but we were wrong. The property is so amazing that we really didn't want to leave for excursions. We ended up relaxing, swimming, cooking, and just enjoying the amazing view. Honoka'a is a great town for provisions and the local fruit trucks and stands are great.”

“The Log Cabin was truly our home for the 12 nights. We absolutely couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The location was perfect for visiting family and easy to get to many sightseeing activities, beach days ;) there were 6 adults and 2 kids in our village. Plenty of room! Awesome caretaker on the property too.”
