“We travel extensively and were really impressed with this property. The location, the grounds, comfort and well thought out design. Stayed 2 nights as we were travelling through. Definitely stay again - 5 or 6n next time. For us this was a magnificent find. The operators have done an excellent job!”

“A huge comfortable house, lots of toys for kids and a trampoline, walking distance to the river and canyon walks, quiet, visiting wild life and really well equipped. ”

“ All the modern conveniences with the old fashioned touches. We really enjoyed our stay at the Post Office. Great central location in a beautiful high country township. Plenty of walks and river activities to keep us busy but also a lovely spot to chill and unwind. Will be back for sure in winter when we can stoke up the fires. Thank you. ”

“We were in Bright for the Alpine 4 Peaks event. It was my first time in Bright. We loved it! The accommodation was perfect. Exactly as described. Very friendly agents, clear instructions. Ideal location - short walk into town, quiet and peaceful. The balcony was great. The only downside was that we didn't get to use the fireplace, as the weather was beautiful and warm! Would definitely go back.”

“Such a clean comfortable property. The property manager was amazing to deal with when there was a small sewer issue which was fixed promptly. Comfy beds and every year the owners just do the right little tweaks to maintain the property. ”

“This beautiful house was the perfect setting for our relaxing weekend away. Spacious & comfortable, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax and the central kitchen/living area was a great communal area. The lovely garden provided stunning views from every window. Easy access to some great wineries & breweries in the area. The town's pub has a great meal, good coffee at the cafe & the general store has the essentials, all within walking distance.”

“Appreciated kitchen equipment....not just bits and pieces but good quality.The games room was a big hit as was the kayaks.Location was great.I would say the stairs to access the house could be difficult for elderly/disabled.”

“What a spot! The house is set in beautiful gsrdens right on the stunning howqua river, amazing views, beaut base to visit jamison or murchison or explore up into the high country. Andy is an A1 host.”

“Loved visiting Bright, great location, walking distance to restaurants and splash park. Accomodation is dated but clean. Enjoyed the children’s books and games. ”

“Couldn't get any communication from Will, found key in the letterbox but we could not stay there, absolutely disgusting condition, clothes everywhere, mold growing in pots, toothbrushes, used unwashed linen, beds unmade, basically crap everywhere. We could not stay one night in this property, had to book a motel elsewhere. ”

“Liz was extremely accommodating, quick to respond to our queries. The whole process from start to end was easy to follow.The house was as describe, it was roomy, clean, comfortable beds, had everything we needed, home away from home. Location amazing, secluded, quiet place, no hustle and bustle. If you like peace and quiet next to water, boating or fishing it is a perfect location. Recommendation to purchase your basic needs ie..milk, bread, any food needed when you drive through Mansfield save...

“We've been visiting the area for 40 years now and returned for a weekend of kayaking on the Mitta. Communication with Joanne was outstanding and everything was as expected or better. It's a great location, just a short walk from the Golden Age but facing towards the West with big views of the countryside. We particularly appreciated sitting out around the fire pit. A fantastic weekend!”

“Beautiful wander down into town, on the quiet side of the river but still just 5 mins away with slow walking kids. It was very hot in the kids room as no air con just a fan. It made for three very unpleasant nights as we were all up dealing with the heat / swapping sleeping arrangements etc. I wouldn't stay again unless winter because of this. Upstairs spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. ”
