“Place was great. Lots of privacy! It was so quiet especially at night as we had cocktails on the deck. Made our 38th anniversary special. Did some fun stuff.Lands End store at end of Bailey Island and beach. Cooks lobster House. Cabot Antique mall and flea market in Brunswick. Had the best blueberry pancakes we ever had at the Kopper Kettle. Popham Beach topped everything off! talked with David at the end of the trip and hope to rent from him again! ”

“We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within.”

“Interesting old cabin in a pretty location. The kitchen was well supplied with all cooking items we needed. Furnace worked great, and the fireplace was very nice as well. Plenty of space. Only downside was the first night was breezy and one bedroom had some gaps in the walls where the chinking had fallen out--a wee bit drafty. All in all, a fun place though.”

“It was nice to have a place to gather instead of spending the money for a hotel, but it wasn't as comfortable. I understand that you don't want to ruin furniture when you are renting out to people, because you just never know, but there really wasn't any comfortable seating in the den and everything is so low. “What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out.”
