“A cottage well off the beaten track. No TV and wifi for 2 nights. Then it rained and the cloud was low so sightseeing was out of the question. Spent the day blobbing out reading and DVD watching. Best possible place to spend a day doing this.”

“If you think the description of this property sounds good. Trust us. It's ever better. If you are looking to have a wonderful place to stay where you can experience Australia all around you, this is the place. Kangaroos in the yard, birds singing in the trees, a magnificent view across a largely undisturbed valley. The hosts provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus a lot of unexpected amenities. They are right up the hill from you if you need anything...and a million miles away...

“We enjoyed a fabulous stay in Christopher’s Cottage. The view was beautiful and enjoyed from inside the cottage and around the outdoor fire pit. The well equipped kitchen was perfect for creating meals to share around the fire. Our Labrador loved the huge back garden. A short walk across the road for delicious pastries, pies, bread and coffee and easy access to a huge range of walks and ciders! Absolutely divine, we would love to come back for a longer stay.”

“Mt Wilson is a beautiful, peaceful and secluded part of the Blue Mountains. In mid-December there are rare firefly displays just up the road in the Cathedral of Ferns and there are plenty of other lovely walks in the area. The cottage is basic but impeccably clean and quiet. We spent a very happy weekend there. ”
