“We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! ”

“We liked everything! The bed was super comfortable and we are quite fussy when it come to beds. The rooms were clean and towels were changed everything. “Very friendly and attentative staff, room has what you need, and spacious. Location is great! Some positive critique to work on (room 24): - We were in a street facing room, so there was noice from the street. - Cold water tap needs to be attended to … seems like no water and then all of a sudden a gush of it. - mattrasses can be opgraded/replaced, is very thin. (Bedding is very nice) ”

"There is a new trend in hotel design worldwide which this hotel follows and it needs to stop. Not having proper walls and doors in bathrooms within the room. There is no privacy since the walls are now made of cristal so all the bedroom is illuminated by the bathroom, and the doors don't shot so noise and smell flow into the bedroom effortlessly. There is no way of going into the bathroom and not waking up other people in the room. It's a nightmare when traveling with friends and work colleagues!"
