“The hotel was very clean. The food available was fantastic and very varied including local Rajasthan dishes. Our room had an upstairs sitting area with a view of the fort. Whilst everything was perfect the best part were the staff from the guy who made my Indian breakfast to the manager who gave us sandwiches when we left. We were only able to eat one evening at the hotel but the food, service and view of the Fort was perfect. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff.”

“The owner of the hotel was very kind and very helpful his service was excellent. He also spoke excellent spanish. He is very trust worthy and happy to help their guests. “The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere.
