“It was wonderful even before we arrived. Robert sent us an email and a text giving us our personal code for the front door lock along with our room number and WiFi password. When we arrived he greeted us and carried our two bags up to our room. The mansion was built in 1894, yet the rooms have attached bathrooms. Everything was clean and quiet. “We enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. We rented the street-level apartment which was perfect for the four of us. The kids enjoye d the toys and we all had fun playing some board games. The place was very clean. There were some Asian beetles present but this was not unique to just this property. We saw them everywhere we went around Shell Rock, Waverly, Cedar Falls, etc. Just that time of the year. We would definitely stay again. saw them everyhey were ”

“An old historic hotel that has been updated but still has that classic old vibe. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and decorated nicely. Bathroom was smaller but updated with a large tiled shower. Located on Main Street so location is great. ”

“The only thing I didn't like was that the pool area was under maintenance... I was looking forward to the swim. But the front desk staff was very helpful, mannerly and nice ”
