“My husband and I enjoyed the cottage, location and surroundings immensely. The pond was warm and inviting and the couple of neighbors we ran into were very friendly. Took the canoe around the pond and did a little fishing as well. The cottage has great hot water too. The bed was a little uncomfortable but definitely not a deal breaker and everyone has a preference when it comes to a mattress. The cottage is equipped with almost everything you need and we didn't have any problems with mosquitos...

“Cabin was extremely clean. Had everything you would want at your fingertips. Loved the compact kitchen with all the utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom shower had good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Cabin bed was very comfortable & plenty of blankets. Only small disappointment the kindling wood to use in the firepit was too wet to start a fire. Maybe an outside box to cover the wood to keep it dry would help.”

“Amazing property and experience! Peaceful, beautiful, and easy access to hiking. North Creek had a grocery store and cute shops. The Hobby Farm cabins (I stayed in two different ones.) were both lovely and had everything I needed. I'll be back soon!”

“Nice, we love the house. We only wish to have Lake George more close, its 22 minutes in car away from the house. But we have a wonderful time, we will definitely rent this house again in the future.”

“The house was lovely and the kitchen was stocked with pans/utensils which we appreciated. My only complaint is that the maintenance man arrived twice with no prior warning from the hosts. Not a huge deal, but I would have appreciated a heads up so our cars could have been moved and not blocked in.”

“Very nice, small but comfortable. Good for a young family of 4. 2 beds were in a loft, so kids would need to be able to climb an attached ladder to get there. 20 mins from Lake George which was a breeze.”

“Interior was smaller and more cramped than what pictures showed but that’s what cameras do. Vacuuming was not done on it in a little bit. But it was pet friendly and it’s kind of like a cabin that you would get at a camp ground. My dog enjoyed the river and we enjoyed using the fire pit. Bathroom needs to be remodeled but it does look like remodeling is going in stages. But all that matters for us was we had a good time and was able to bring our dog. I would say if you’re looking for...
