“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lemon Tree. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Central to the train station, Wrexham stadium and quaint downtown. Could walk everywhere. Definitely will be back.”

Could not ask for better service particularly in the savvy fox restaurant. Will definitely be staying here again. Only downside was we were only staying 1 night. Well done. ”

“Very impressed. Stayed for 1 night with my 8 year old son as a stopover on the way to Snowdonia. By far the cheapest hotel I could find in the local area, so expectations were low. Impressed though at the hotel, friendly staff at check-in, decent rooms and surprisingly comfy bed! Only downsides - the walls seemed rather thin, the angry man in the next room having an argument with someone on the phone was heard rather clearly(!) and shower lacked much pressure. But all in all, for a cheap night...

“We booked for a one night stay, as we were attending our Aunts 80th Birthday party and had to travel a distance. Our evening meal was acceptable as traditional pub grub and the service/staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was FAB, we had a full English and couldn't fault. Our room was in the main building and an 'old' room as we had to duck down when entering BUT there was a sign to watch your head AND the room was excellent, very clean and all the makings for tea/coffee and...

“Our stay was amazing we took the grandchildren as we went to Reindeer lodge on the Saturday. The hostess left everything you might need and the horse came across to see us every day which the girls loved. There was only one fault which didn't affect our stay one of the keys to the french window didnt work and i forgot to let them know as it wasnt a problem because we just used the front door .We would definitely come back here again. ”

“A very well thought of hotel,lovely room with separate bath and walk in shower exceptionally clean,will definitely stay here again,was no reception or anyone greeting you but this did not bother me,and there was a free car parking permit in the room which you would not get anywhere else where there is no hotel car park”

“Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time ”
