“…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. “This cottage was perfect for us. The main bedroom faces the lake and waking up to the waves and sunrise was just perfect. Two Kayaks are on the property and we definitely took advantage of them. There is nice dock with a bench at the end to sit out an enjoy the lake view. Very nice grill if you're thinking of cooking outside, which we did a few times. The house is clean and has quite a nice living room and fireplace if the weather isn't cooperating. We sat out on the back deck for breakfast...

“We came for a hockey tournament and wanted to bring our dog. House was great - beautiful view of the lake. Easy drive into town. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, they really enjoyed the hot tub! My favorite part was the master bathroom, what a great shower and the heated toilet seats were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked. Great host - very communicative!”

“We all had a wonderful stay at the home across a long weekend. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The kitchen has plenty of space for many people to cook. Living room comfortably fit 12-18 people and the temperature was comfortable.Only thing to note was the piano was fairly out of tune and the trundle pull out was a bit dirty but otherwise everything was clean.”

“We picked this place as it had 2 rooms with king beds, for our 2 couples plus it was dog friendly. The owners left a dog bed for our pup to sleep in. The house is beautifully renovated. We did struggle with a lady bug problem in the family room but I think it was due to the temps and being an old house. The location is perfect along the Keuka outlet trail. We arrived at night and I wish the house was a little better lit as the property is fairly remote”

“This is house is nice on the main floor. The lower floor indeed had a musty smell. We were going to use both floors but did not end up using the lower floor. The musty smell was bothersome. We tried to open the windows but either they were labeled to not be opened up or they did not work. I think if your were able to open the windows that would help. The main floor was well stocked for cooking and the deck and inside seating was great. The beds were comfortable. ”
