“We stayed here for 5 nights and used the home as a central location to visit historic sites in Palmyra, Fayette, and Oakland township. The property is definitely remote, but it was nice to have our own space. My youngest LOVED jumping in the pond every afternoon. “I ended up reserving this property kind of last minute after a previous cabin I was interested in fell through (It was another cabin listed in Naples and the owner ended up being EXTREMELY unstable! I HIGHLY recommend that if you were looking at that other cabin to go with this one instead. You will be much safer! There is something seriously wrong with the other guy!). “We stayed one night at this cabin, and it was lovely. Contactless check in and check out was like a breeze. Very quaint little cabin for a perfect relaxing getaway. Host also prepared a list of nearby places to see like vinyards, restaurants, hiking spots and other cool information! Host is also very quick to respond to messages. “We had a great time at this property. Less than 10 minutes to Watkins Glen and the Gorge Trail. Multiple wineries with 10 minutes. Also a bunch of markers markets and local farm stores within 20 minutes. We really enjoyed exploring the area and then winding down on the back porch at night after a day out. Would recommend this location to anyone looking to explore the Watkins Glen or Seneca Lake Wine Trail.”

“Best place I’ve ever stayed at a finger lake! Cozy and comfortable cottage. A feeling of home. View was impeccable! Very clean! Just so relaxing with the family. My 3 year old granddaughter loved the kayak. First time in the kayak. She didn’t want to come out! lol! My lab loved every bit of it! Met the hosts. Very welcoming and friendly! “Charlie the owners was at the property very welcoming and nice .the property was amazing. Right on a river. The house was above incredible, you feel your at spa .he has everything you could ever want. The only down is the well water has a sulfur smell but he provides bottled water for cooking and cleaning .so no problem. Cool evening enjoyed a nice fire.the pictures on the site are exactly what it looks like. Dont think theres a picture of the bench by the river its a great place to set.”

“This property is in a perfect location. The house was clean and had all the stuff you could need to enjoy your stay. Silverware, cups, plates towels, blankets, bedding ect. Just beware the low ceilings down stairs, they got my husband a few times. The lake and docks are stunning. The hot tub was very clean. All around a great stay.”

“It was so quiet, peaceful and restful. It was in the middle of nowhere with trails in the woods, and wildlife all around. Close to Watkins Glen gorge, Seneca lake, and downtown. Host was extremely attentive, texting back within 10 minutes and came immediately to the cabin when I texted that there was a hole in the propane tank line. He fixed it immediately. “We had a great stay in Geneva. The Wine Down Bungalow is clean, spacious and perfect for a few nights away. We had the dock to ourselves for the solar eclipse. Great space to stare out onto the lake. Our first morning, the shower water did not get hot. The owners were quick to respond and it was fixed immediately. Very responsive and easy to deal with. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute place to stay about a ten minute drive away from the center of Geneva.”
