The house and property are lovely: the house is compact, cozy and well maintained with big sliding doors in the dining/ sitting areas that open to a wide deck with incredible views of the lawn, river and passing wildlife. (Cardinals, blue jays, heron, osprey and two magnificent bald eagles kept us company all summer long.) When we pulled up my husband thought I was crazy for booking a glamping site near someone home & my teenagers rolled their eyes at me….but we had the BEST time here!! “Four women stayed there for four nights, and we were very comfortable & content! The sun room was our go-to place, and the porch was also very inviting. Beds all comfy, rooms each a delight. Be sure to read all there is to see and do (from owner) - lots within easy reach, though we probably enjoyed the local hikes the most. There's a Hannafords within 15 min. south on 22, just FYI. Enjoy and give great reviews - it's worth it!!”

“Really loved this hotel. Though very chic in it's decor, there was also a cozy vibe to it with it's modern lodge aesthetic. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and great size. I also appreciated the included breakfast options as well as the restaurant onsite. The food at the restaurant was amazing and was a great feature to have.”
