“Sonia and Steve are the best hosts ever! They made us feel at home and Sonia's cooking is super good. The owners on the other hand are not so gracious, we wanted to make our stay shorter since ski conditions were nit the best and Sonia talk to them but they were un flexible about the issuse abd did not let us cancelled the other days. But how Sonia and Steve treat us and pamper us, we end up having a great stay.”

“Excellent treatment from the owners of the hotel, they are a young american couple, they did everything to make us feel at home. They are doing a great job with restoration of this very nice hotel. They also offered bicycles, and wonderful continental breakfast during weekends.”

“I loved the easy people free check in. We didn’t see a soul the entire stay. Beautiful covered porch off of the room overlooking Lake Champlain. Coffee, tea and snacks right outside the door. ”

“Had a very comfortable stay. Cabin was clean and check in was seamless!”

“Place was cozy & amazing. I love staying at the place. Planning to visit in next year will definitely try to book this place again. Good price & location. Its about 20 min away whiteface mountain around 30 min from Hog George Fall and about 45 to 50 min lake placid. One thing I feel that should be there is a fan on loft area for flow of air. There is bug ceiling fan in living room but not that much helpful. Otherwise everything is perfect.”

“We spent the weekend at this cabin, and the views alone were worth every cent! The home is gorgeous, very comfortable and has a beautiful deck. When we needed assistance after arriving at 1 AM, the owners were quick to respond. We will definitely be back! ”

“This was my first hiking trip in the Adirondacks and this little house was just perfect for my visit. All the comforts of home from the welcoming living room to the nicely stocked kitchen to the beautiful outdoor setting. Very quiet neighborhood in the woods but easy to get to the places I wanted to explore. About a 20 minute drive to Lake Placid. Enjoyed the gas fireplace! Can’t wait to come back next fall because there is so much to do in this area! ”
