“We often visit but this was our first stay. Was disappointing that accommodation was on a difficult piece of land away from the restaurant and cultural heritage museum. Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave To heat a quick meal. “Riekie the host was accommodating and more than helpful along the way always available with answers and we checked in without any hassle.Great, clean property with an awesome view and location.Great for families or for just a friend’s break away.The house had all the amenities one would expect and more with even a bottle of bubbly as a welcome gift.Plenty of braai wood and a very nice jacuzzi with a killer view.We look forward to staying there again or at any other properties Riekie hosts.”

“We were upgraded to the family room, which was great, the only concern was going up and down the steep staircase having to access the kitchen and bathroom, and there is no TV in the bedroom. Something I did not see mentioned in the reviews I looked at was that the nearest shops are 20km away, in Ysterfontein.”
