“Although this location is remote, it is still worth the price. It was very clean and quiet. They offered a basic continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a gas station next door with a hot food counter and a good selection of convenience store snacks and drinks. Overall we were very happy.”

“While our comfort and experience with Townhouse 213 was closer to a 3 (and a one if you include all the perilous stairs), we have massive respect and esteem for Vickie, who was the point person. She is outstanding at her job. She was receptive to the ideas (long text lists from daughter) that we made for improving the 213 so it can shine like we know it can. We can tell the effort put in to rehabing the house. What we will say so that others can be aware of what we weren't 1)there are stairs...

“Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! My husband and I were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. ”

“This cabin was great for what my wife and I needed on our weekend visit to the New River Gorge area. Great location at the southern end of the New River Gorge National Park but even closer to Bluestone State Park and Bluestone Lake/Marina being just a few minutes from Hinton,WV. ”

“We were in town for a conference and opted to stay at a cabin rather than a hotel. This cabin was perfect and had everything we wanted, including a king sized bed, hot tub, large comfortable couch, and much more. The place was extremely clean and well appointed, and communication with the property manager was prompt and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. Thank you!”

“Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated.”

“We came for a wedding at Pipestem Resort State Park. We all had the option of staying at the resort, however we chose otherwise. It was so cozy and such a cute little cabin. We enjoyed having our own space and being able to have our own bedroom. The host has thought of everything that anyone could possibly need. We enjoyed it thoroughly! The scenery is breathtaking!! Highly highly recommend this place!”

“My wife, daughter, and I stayed here while enroute to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. The Glo Haus is a unique set up allowing for simple, low key lodging in a very beautiful and scenic area. My daughter spent more time either in or running along the babbling brook situated behind the structures. Each evening and morning we would sit and watch a group of deer that would walk down the hillside easement and eat the acorns that had fallen from the oaks on the property. “This is a beautiful, contemporary cabin set at the end of a one lane gravel road at the top of a mountain. The views are wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and the bed sleeps great! You have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is very quiet and dark at night. I was able to photograph the Milky Way from the balcony of the cabin! If you want a quiet get away close to New River Gorge National Park, this is a great place to escape to.”

“First time to the area. Easy to get to all three of the parks from the cabin. Pipestem is a beautiful park right acoss the road.The cabin was well equipped with blankets, towels & more . Of course i loved all the bear decor. Would highly recommend this cabin for your vacation spot. We hope to be back in the future.Lots to see and do. do and see”

“This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family! The property is so beautiful and private. We were there for my daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech. I only wish we had a little more time to relax by the firepit and enjoy the soothing sounds of the stream that runs along the property.”
