This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). “Beautiful location and a very nice cabin. The multiple levels of decking is great to change up viewing areas. We all truly enjoyed it. Great communication with the host. We caught large quantities of small mouth, rock bass but very few with quality size. Definitely doesn't change my review on the cabin, but the driveway is fairly steep so if loaded down with gear and with only 2 wheel drive vehicle it can be a little challenging to make it up ”

“We really loved the setting of the cabin. Boyd Pond is beautiful! We loved seeing critters outside, like geese and loons on the water. We made breakfasts in the kitchen and spent a lot of time looking out over the water both from the table and sitting on the deck. It was nice to watch TV at night and have a space of our own. ”

“Boyd Pond is really more of a private lake. It’s a nice size… big enough to explore and it never felt crowded. It was small enough that we felt safe letting our teen boys boat by themselves. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, bye nearby towns are very small and you need to drive around 30min to get to a grocery store, ice cream etc. We did take a day trip to Wescott Park and spent the day on the beach on Lake Ontario and highly recommend that. The lack of tourist offerings...
