“The house is wonderful, well equipped and suitable for a larger group. The distance to Amsterdam is perfect and the bus runs all day and night. Great running routs in the area also. There is just a really small grocery shop in the village though. We had great help from the host who answered right away when asked, gave us useful information and made us feel really welcomed.”

“The beautifully decorated cottage is small but perfect for two people. And the gardens are beautiful with a lovely seating to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine at the end of the evening. Klaas and Marianne are the best hosts ever. So attentive to every detail from a welcome drink to an exceptional breakfast each morning. The space had every need looked after including travel books, coffee, all the kitchen needs, fully stocked bathroom. It was truly a lovely stay!”

“Our family of 5 loved the location. We visited many of the nearby towns (loved Marken!) and Amsterdam of course. Convenient to walk to buses or uber around. Property is on the water with a lovely view. We naively kept all the windows open for the view and breeze so got a few spider/bug bites (lesson learned!), but otherwise we were happy. Recommend. ”

“Small, but fairly comfy and huge bonus of air conditioners! We hit the hottest days in the year. The property manager greeted us and showed us how to operate the beds and where everything was. She helped us figure the busses etc. it’s a little out of the way to the bus stop so luggage was a bit more difficult, but the town is so darling and we had a great meal! ”
