“My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights to do some hiking in the Catskills area. The hotel was very clean and spacious. The receptionist was very welcoming. It was by the river in a residential area with a couple of restaurants and stores along the street, so the area was quiet. Some of the buildings along the street were not occupied.”

“I enjoyed my stay at the St. Charles, located next to a park right in town. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and attractive. The room amenities were just fine as well. Parking is right by the hotel. The man at the reception desk was always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast outlay could use more attention because on one morning in particular there seemed to be no one around to replenish it. Otherwise, the selection was adequate (oh, yes, how 'bout some bagels and orange juice in addition...

“The Eastwinds in Wndham is a camping property with beautiful cabins that are very comfortable for campers and glampers! The staff is so accommodating and friendly. The property is magnificent. This was our second time here and cannot say enough great things about the Eastwinds, Staff, and the area of Windham. Very friendly town for a getaway or vacation.”

“Lovely find! Quaint and quiet with mountains and trees surroundings. Dining and bar right underneath the rooms with an outdoor area for chairs circling a fire ring. We felt like the only ones there on the weekend. Beautiful fall foliage drive to Phoenicia and Woodstock. ”

“I had always heard about the Catskills, but had never been before now. Found the Shandaken Inn on an internet search, and wasn't sure if it would be all it seemed to be. it was even better! The property was gorgeous, surrounded by inviting peaks; a large open field, with a swimming pool at one end and several independent cottages at the other, offered a great place for our dog and us to amble; a short nature trail, well maintained, connected to an old railroad bed that was nice to stroll. ...
