“The place is absolutley perfect just one thing let it down and that was the bathroom!!! very disappointing as we’d stayed at 2 hotels prior and the bathrooms had walk in showers, shame as that would of made the hotel 100% will return in the hope there’s a walk in shower ”

“We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The pool was fantastic for children and open from 7-7. A lovely touch to have a child’s welcome pack. The duck food was a lovely idea too and our daughter really enjoyed it. A great base to explore with the aquarium, steam boat and steam train on the doorstep. About to 10-20mins from other shops. ”

“We had stayed at the Belsfield before the pandemic, and thought it was a lovely hotel, but I haven’t stayed there since as it was just a bit too expensive. However we got a good deal for our two nights in February, so jumped at the chance to make a booking. I then I read the reviews! And a lot, especially from last year were not very positive at all, so we did not have high expectations when we arrived. However, we were very pleasantly surprised our room (number 45) was a lovely big family room...

“Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...
