Wonderful home and location
Had a great stay! Home had everything we wanted and the walk to the beach was easy. Nice neighborhood too. Enjoyed everything about our stay! Will stay there again!

Not what we expected
Beautiful home but not safe for families. Railing on the deck is broke in several places, someone could just fall off easily! Cigarette butts in grill and back deck that is also not safe for anyone. Light bulb in top of towels that fell and broke at our feet. There was a sewing needle in the carpet. Games in the garage were all broken and missing parts, so we were not able to use them. We had to check in an hour late because of cleaning crew, who also lost one of the keys. I tried contacting the property manager several times and still haven’t received a response. Walk way to the beach is NOT safe! Crumbled rocks at the bottom with no railing! This home was falsely advertised and we were very disappointed!!

Great family retreat
This house is well appointed, and worked well for our extended family of 10 (8-87). The views from the top floor are amazing, and the kids enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Thanks for another great Oregon Beach vacation!

Great location
While the property does have some deferred maintenance, overall this is a great place to stay for the price. We loved how close to the beach it was and found it very conveniently located. Some of the railings need to be replaced on the balconies but overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location.
Loved the neighborhood. There are a lot of stairs to get to the beach and again to get to the top floor of the house but that afforded us beautiful views of the sunsets. The outside stairs and decking are a little “iffy”. The house was well appointed ( everything you need in a kitchen is there!). The layout worked well for our 3 generation family.

Perfect location on the coast
We had 3 families come and stay at the home. It was great with lots of room. Stairs down to the beach were just outside the house, perfect location to go down and enjoy the ocean. Quiet location, clean home. Ran into a minor issue, but owner was quick to respond and address any issue.

Beautiful home and beautiful view of the ocean
This property is close to the ocean and has beautiful views. The property is in desperate need of maintenace as the rails on the 3rd level of deck are not safe and are loose. There are light bulbs out and thr gas fireplace was not working most of the time. I have addressed all of the issues with the owner and she is looking into them. The oet smell was needing to be addressed. We did enjoy our stay there.

Excellent location and great house
We loved staying here! It was clean, comfortable, and cute. There is an incredible view out the living room window or from the deck. The hot tub and the huge tub in the main bathroom were both fantastic. It is 3 floors (which is in the description of the home so we weren't surprised), so quite a few stairs, but that didn't bother our crew at all. My kids LOVED the bunk bed and were thrilled that the beach was right there. The host also responded quickly whenever we had questions, which I always appreciate. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is poorly managed
-gas turned off while staying due to unpaid bill. Hours of time wasted trying to resolve. This meant we could not cook, shower, or run the dishwasher. -Hide a bed sheets found folded and wet in drawer -Check in was 15 mins late due to cleaners. Cleaners left behind tools and food. -Owner unavailable to help resolve issues. I tried calling a dozen times, and still the property manager never returned my phone call. The listed emergency number finally answered, but the point of contact could do nothing and was unhelpful. -Hot tub cleaning person showed up a day into our stay and let himself in without notifying us he was there. -Charred, rusted electrical outlet next to hose by front door. Electrical hazard. -Smoke alarm in basement was dead -NW Natural inspected equipment when turning gas back on. Numerous issues that need attention. -Deck boards on top floor are rotted and a hazard. The temporary fix that they implemented is not safe. -VRBO informed us the contact info for the owner is incorrect. Please update your phone number with them for future issues. The location is great, the view is great, but the property deserves much better management. If the management changes I would recommend this place. Otherwise, save you and your family the hassel and dissapointment and find another property.

A well appointed kitchen and great views made this house a great choice for our extended family of 12 and doggos. The very close beach access was so handy! The additional access point a little way south isnt as steep so may be a better choice for some. Thanks a lot!

Ocean Paradis
We had a wonderful visit to Depoe Bay! The accommodations were amazing, especially the spectacular view from top story of the house. Everything was nice and clean, and all our needs were met. Future guests, be aware that this is a three story house with two flights of stairs. The kitchen and living room are on the top floor to accommodate the veiw of the ocean. We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to return again sometime.

Worth the money, but showing wear
Very clean, nice view above the nearby houses so that you can see the ocean. The deck flooring and some siding need replacing due to rot. The hot tub was smaller than expected and also showing wear. Some deck furniture was broken or rusted out. The house was advertised for 15 people, but material inside the house was corrected to allow for 12. Fortunately, we only had ten, although we would have had more but for schedule conflicts, which would have put us over the limit. Best-stocked kitchen I've seen. Lacking in hand towels. I suggest bringing your own soap and shampoo. Great dishwasher and double laundry. I'd rent again for the price, but would adjust my expectations.
