“Had a hard time figuring out how to adjust the temperature. It was warm in the room, but I did open the windows more which helped a great deal. Wouldn’t recommend for elderly people or anyone with difficulty climbing stairs.”

“A nice welcome to the Hotel. The room was clean and attractive and I liked the shower. Breakfast was hot and well served. We opted for the evening meal for our short stay and was 'home cooking' style . There is a bar so we could order drinks with the meal. ”

“Great hospitality from the staff. Breakfast was good but a little overpriced for a basic continental spread. I would have expected the continental breakfast to be included with the room rate. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous! I would love to dine there again. When I got my final bill for my stay (room and breakfast) I was asked if I wanted to add further gratuity to it which was a little surprising and made me feel a bit awkward. I had tipped well for the dinners already. So I’m not...

“It was perfect for the lone female business self employed traveller and had everything I needed , fridge, microwave. These were a godsend. Only thing I would change is the height of the basin and mirror in the bathroom . I’m a average height female at 5’ 4” and the basin and mirror are set at a 6’2” male I’m sure lol apart from that all good would definitely stay again :) ”

“We received a very warm welcome and everything was just perfect. The room was spacious and a super king bed was very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities in our room and even a small fridge if needed. A fan was in the room in case it was very hot. We had a good meal in a local pub recommended by David and it didn’t disappoint. The breakfast was delicious, just about anything you could wish for in a very nice dining room, we will certainly return next time we are in the area ”
