“The cabin is a wonderful forest retreat from the grind of life. Everything was as described. We loved relaxing on the front porch with a cup of coffee and the deer and squirrels to keep us company. It was nice to disconnect from the world for a bit. The location gives the feeling of isolated but still close to civilization. The details of the cabin were really lovely. We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub. “Cabin was great, was a little concerned about the road in but it wasn’t a problem. Location to park and hikes good, luray caverns, James Madison home also worth seeing. 5 deer out the back window on Saturday. Thanks for the new deck and steps. 😊. Only suggestion would be we had salt and no pepper and no charcoal for the grill. Beds are old and we ended up using two but all in all a fun cabin. ”

“We booked the Round House for our summer vacation this July and were thrilled with everything about it. The wraparound deck and full windows showing off the most gorgeous views truly took our breath away. It was a wonderful place to kick back and relax, and a great starting point for many of the adventures we embarked upon. It was very easy to get into Shenandoah National Park - just a short drive away, as were the Luray Caverns. We also drove down to Monticello one day, which was an easy trip....

“This is a great lake house - great size, excellent dock, wonderful decks. The house needs some basic maintenance and improvements. The lighting was pretty bad. The kitchen lacked silverware and was rather disorderly. The bath and kitchen towels were very worn and in poor condition. The game room was fun but had many broken games. We have fun and it was beautiful on the lake.”

“My family throughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. So many things to do just around the property. They had a list of anything you may have questions and had all the necessities in the kitchen. “This was an adorable log cabin place, in a great location, and filled with amenities to keep people entertained. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit which was used at night and the lovely back porch & rocking chairs used in the morning. We did not feel that the place was super clean, the floors were dirty and dishes/utensils were also dirty and unorganized, we found old food in the refrigerator and inside an ottoman.
