“Second time staying here and the rooms are lovely and the location is incredible. There is long term construction on the beach near the property that was a surprise and very loud at 7am on a Saturday. It would’ve been nice to be made aware of that ahead of time. Also be aware that the hotel will charge you a hidden fee when you check in for “paper towels and toilet paper”. This seems petty after a pricey/night hotel fee.”

“Oceanfront Hacienda is such a hidden gem! I used to live in SC and I can honestly say this is in the top 3 best places to stay. We stayed in the Grotto for one night and it exceeded our expectations. They have done a great job of keeping the old charm of the property, it’s obvious that the owners really love it. “We had a lovely stay the view was nice and hearing the ocean waves at night were very calming. The home is Vintage but it’s very homey. One of the beds is very hard and the other is soft. If all else fails the couches are loungers and very comfy to sleep in plus you can hear the ocean. We stayed 2 days so we had everything we needed clean towels and bedding extra pillows and a fridge and microwave. Though I would was the dishes before you use them , your supposed to wash them yourself after...

“A great little place on the beach, few minutes walk to the ocean and 4 minutes walk to Newport Harbour filled with cute shops and lots of food options. The area is quiet and very safe. We really appreciated the quick and easy communication with the property manager. He was kind and very helpful with our questions and concerns ie. We asked where we could find more coffee and he brought a new bag of grounds to our door. A good place for a peaceful get away for singles, couples, or families. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. Location was amazing. The size and amenities with this home were great. I would rent again as this was perfect for our needs. We utilized other services (concierge) and the birthday celebration we had was amazing! I advise everyone to take advantage. Some areas of opportunity: more comfortable beds for the extra rooms (master was great), needed to purchase silverware and some dishes, living room furniture is uncomfortable and the main living area the screen had a huge hole.”

“The property has great marketing, but falls short on delivery. The room we booked had pictures of the ocean as if it were ocean front. Instead we got a view of an alleyway and parking lot. The room was dated and musty, contrasting the beautiful rooms that were advertised. My booking also said it had complimentary valet parking, which the front desk did not want to honor and wanted to charge $45 a night for its compulsory service. In the end they agreed to waive it when I showed the evidence....
