“Great house, but it is only a 3 bedroom with a large bonus room that has 3 beds . Which’ is miss leading. Over all we loved the area and house! We are looking forward to stay there again in the next few years!”

“What a great home in a beautiful secluded area. In years past we’ve stayed at the Nakoma resort so we know the area and all of its surrounding beauty. This house made our long weekend get away that much more special. We had a blast with the game room, movie room and all of the toys for the kiddos. 10/10 spacious clean and wonderful host!”

“Generally, an enjoyable place to stay. There were several things which could have been better (AC, limited TV access, usable grill on the back deck) but discussed the issues w/owner and I’m sure will be addressed. Rapid response when needed and very concerned about quick resolutions.”

“A good location and family home base for exploring the surrounding Graeagle area in spring and early summer, but it is in need of some updates. We were fortunate that the temperatures didn’t get above 85 because there are only fans in the house. The two king beds downstairs are indented from use and not comfortable. The bbq was also in need of an upgrade and was difficult to use. New beds and bbq would greatly improve this property.”

“We've spent time in this area all my life, and when I'm in the mountains of eastern California, I have an image in my mind of how that stay is supposed to look. Woodsy Mountain Cabin nailed it! All the amenities we needed, with none of the distractions we didn't. There were plenty of activities for our children to enjoy in the evenings after after long, hike- filled days. The spacious porch made it easy to entertain visiting family memebers, while keeping the kids entertained as they ran around...

“We really enjoyed this property. It had everything we needed and very comfortable beds. It is a smaller house but big enough for 2 families. Plus it is dog friendly. Thankfully it had good AC as it has been hot outside while we were there. There are so many great lakes and hikes close to this area, We really enjoyed exploring.”

“The owners were amazing and answered quickly. The location was perfect for our needs and had everything we needed. We got to see deer, quail and turkeys. Restaurants close and sierra buttes trail stewardship is a great place to go for bike rentals. ”
