I enjoyed the full English breakfast every morning which was cooked to order and a self service area for tea, coffee, toast etc. Since my last visit a couple of years ago the Wi-Fi has been much improved and the small TV has been replaced with a 40" smart TV. The grounds are always well kept. The only downside was using Expedia for the first time. They told me my room was booked but Saltburn House...

“An eccentric small hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. There is no aircon so some of the rooms can be difficult to keep cool in sunny weather. The breakfast is menu based rather than a buffet and is very good although I would reccomend giving the cafetiere coffee a miss and going for something from the esspresso machine which is much better. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent although, like so many places there was over loud and completely un neccessary...
