“Excellent hotel near the airport and short drive to the city. Clean large pool and beach for swimming. Plenty of shaded sitting areas. Restaurant food is good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms have beautiful views. Would be nice if some music or entertainment on Friday night. However music is provided at the Thai restaurant. ”

“Stone Town is over rated. The area is dirty, the buildings' facades are falling apart. The public parks and beaches are mostly dirty, with garbage everywhere. I wouldn't suggest to stay there. Better stay some where else in Zanzibar and just spend one morning walking around Stone Town. The hotel air condioner was really noisy, the pillows uncomfortable. Could improve in several things. ”

Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. ”

“This is a lovely hotel, very comfortable bed, convenient location in Stone Town. The staff is very nice. However, we will never stay there again as we had major security problems. Items of ours were hidden so the staff could keep them once we left (we found my husband's had, lost my $80 sandals which were not in my suitcase at the next stop. Much worse, all the credit cards in my wallet were photographed and $20,000 charges attempted, which results in ALL my cards being cancelled. I would...
