“Highly Disappointed!!! Our family did not stay here since I could not get the property manager to respond to my emails/texts. They never sent check-in information. I had to contact the main VRBO office, who also could not get response from property manager. We got reservation cancelled and full refund. Added a lot of stress to our trip, considering I had made reservation several months earlier!”

“Very nice place with everything you could possibly need including some thoughtful touches in the kitchen and storage room. By sea view, I thought it was closer to the beach, but was a few minutes walk through the village - was glad the property owners advised us to bring a flashlight because it was certainly needed at night. “My family of 5 picked this luxury apartment for a recent trip to DAR. Check in was 4pm but we arrived at 4:45pm, but the apartment was still being cleaned. We dropped our luggages and left to allow the cleaning to be completed. We returned at 10:30pm only to find numerous live creeping bugs and a coakroach in one of the bedrooms and the hallway. "This is a lovely hotel, very comfortable bed, convenient location in Stone Town. The staff is very nice. However, we will never stay there again as we had major security problems. Items of ours were hidden so the staff could keep them once we left (we found my husband's had, lost my $80 sandals which were not in my suitcase at the next stop. Much worse, all the credit cards in my wallet were photographed and $20,000 charges attempted, which results in ALL my cards being cancelled. I would have been totally out of luck when I got to the next destination and had to rent a car."
