“The hosts were great, they helped my parents surprise me with a birthday gift. They were very nice and generous and had a well put together binder with tid bits about the neighborhood. The property was cozy and cute, inside and out. If I'm back in the San Diego area I will definitely check in here first.”

“The property was clean and as advertised. The host was readily available when needed. Our 2 1/2 year old great grandson loved the pool and spent as much time as possible enjoying the pool that was safely tucked behind a security fence. The location made seeing local attractions possible. Sea World and Lego Land were both a big hit. ”

“Great house, nice spacious rooms, good beds, pillows could be better, everything is in excelent conditions, having coffee pods available is a real plus! Hosts are attentive. Having 2 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms is a stretch but manageable. Overall very good location, quiet neighborhood and comfortable. ”

“this was so much better than staying at a hotel. the area is gorgeous and so was the vrbo. we plan on taking this trip again next year and hope to stay at the same place with any luck. only thing i would warn of is there isnt any great amount of storage for clothing. didnt bother is at all but might be something other travelers look for.”

“We recently stayed for nephew’s marine graduation. It accommodated our family (7) with great access to restaurants in old town (walking distance). Host was great and easy to work with to accommodate our needs. Highly recommend for your stay in San Diego!”

“I will start with the positives: location is fantastic, beds are comfy, sheets were crisp and clean, amenities are pretty decent (we didn’t use the stove or oven), bathroom was clean. Negatives: the house had a weird odor (like pet urine), the floors weren’t very clean (my father’s white socks were filthy after walking around), the courtyard area could have used some nicer outdoor furniture, one of the bedroom windows wouldn't close and some of the windows needed curtains or shades. ”

“This is a really good option if you want to be close to downtown. Lots of good restaurants, bars, museums, ect. to see in a walkable distance. Just make sure to bring earplugs because this property is directly under the flight path for planes landing at the airport, they pass over only a couple hundred feet overhead continuously all day but slack off at night. Overall I enjoyed it. ”
