“This was the perfect house to stay in while visiting Shenandoah National Park. Only a short drive from one of the entrances, it made our day trips to the park much more manageable (with a baby and two dogs!). Loved the trees and the stream behind the house. Also, we forgot a few things after we left and were told immediately by the host, who offered to ship them for us. SO kind and appreciated. Overall, 5 stars. “The house was perfect for our extended family. The host provided plenty of kitchen items as well as extra toilet paper, bathroom and kitchen soaps, soap for the dishwasher and washing machine as well as all the linens. We have rented many houses in the past and never had a sharp knife in the kitchen but this one did. The free passes for activities at the resort was an added bonus. Very clean as well as stocked. The only suggestion is for the host to update the binder with current information.”

“This is a beautiful property with the most amazing views of the mountains from all sides of the house! It is a great location with close proximity to the JMU campus. We did have trouble with a few of the high end features in the kitchen (gas oven and range) and master bathroom (shower handle). Outdoor areas were a little neglected and could use cleaning. Great property for a short or long stay!!!”

“We were looking for a weekend getaway that wasn't too far away but still offered all the beauty of a pastoral countryside. Within a couple hours, we were at Nick's spacious and inviting home, with everything we needed to make our weekend wonderful. We really wanted for nothing.
