“It was very Zen and Peaceful, the place was put together very well, it was comfortable safe and secure. We enjoyed our stay. Well equipped with all the comforts of home. Super close to the beach. “The house was fantastic, very cozy, comfortable, big and lots of light. The location and neighborhood was close to the beach and needed stores, and felt super safe and friendly. The beach vibe was so fun, we loved it! The only small confusion was with check in and check out. There were no instructions and we had to do trial and error with door locks and property access, etc. Would suggest a welcome manual.”

“We had a nice day at this property. Miki was super responsive and helpful, which we appreciated. It's an older house (built in 1953) but decorated and outfitted well. Our only issue was that there was air-conditioning in the living room only (maybe I missed that in the listing?) Bedrooms had freestanding fans, which we didn't use at night because they were so loud. But sleeping with the windows open kept us cool enough, and beds are comfortable. “This was a perfect escape for our family of four. We were met by the host when we drove in and check-in was a breeze. The place was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location to the beach. There was a place out front that we could wash the sand off and plenty of space away from the street to leave our beach tent, beach shoes, sand toys, etc. The laundry room was a bonus and let us wash out sweaty clothes after the San Diego Zoo and LegoLand. “Overall this place was wonderful. The yard and outdoor amenities were great. Inside is on the small side but perfect for up to four. Jim was a great host, extremely thoughtful and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time and will be back in a couple of months.”

“When you first walk on the property, you are greeted with the fragrance of magnolia and honeysuckle. Everything went up hill from there. Very clean and they thought of everything you would possibly want for your stay. We would highly recommend this cottage.”
