“What a perfect little getaway to Maine. Donna and Dave are the most welcoming hosts. You will feel at home staying here. They have a comfy bed, kayaks to use, hot tub and a bbq. The lake is beautiful and we got to see our very own sunrise from it. It’s about 45 minutes to Acadia but an easy straight ride and local for all that you need. We will come again. Great place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle. Thank you again Donna and Dave. ”

“Great property! Loved having two dwellings because our dogs can be unruly around other humans. We stayed in the apartment while my brothers family and our mom stayed in the main house. The house was great. There is no tub, which was hard with a 2-year-old. The apartment was ok. A fruit fly infestation in the apartment made drinking red wine impossible, unless you like a little protein in your drink. The owner, Josh, was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. “Restaurants we chose were great (Canoe, Rubbin-Butts and the Mug). Walkable and there were several we did not get to visit. Property does not have an elevator and the rooms were lacking an iron and hair dryer. Beach was clean and empty since we stayed after labor day. Request the 3rd floor if you have mobility issues. When I reserved early check-in I asked if I could fish on the beach/docks and was told that I could. When we got there I was told I could not. Plenty of places to fish in the area...

“This place was perfect for our weekend stay with our 3 small dogs. We loved the beautiful lake view, the large deck with bbq and the firepit in the front yard. It is so hard to find a nice place that will allow us to bring our 3 small dogs. Peter was very friendly and accommodating and answered all our questions promptly. We would definitely stay here again.”
