“We came by train from Padua, and we called for a pick up at the station. Our rooms were ready, although we were there quite early. Rooms are simply appointed, but very clean and they have all necessary amenities. The views cannot be beat; the mountains rise dramatically right across the valley without big obstructions. The restaurant is bustling and the smells are wonderful. There is a little bar area that stays open late for chatting with other guests. We had a tasty breakfast in the morning...

“The Hotel was very easy to get to and had plenty of parking in their own lot. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and hotel. The owner was on the premise and was very welcoming, Helena speaks many languages and since I primarily speak English it was a joy to speak with her and getting her stories of the area and her life. For breakfast their was plenty to eat and she was often there asking if there was anything else I needed. This is a beautiful area of Italy and I certainly enjoyed my stay...

“The view was great on the north side (front) but you pay for the upgrade. Room was so so and facilities was spare. Breakfast buffet spread was average. Dinner had to be pre-ordered - turned out to be expensive and tasteless. For half the price you get a much better meal at a cafe 10 to 15 mins' walking distance away. The best part of the hotel was doubtless the views, but then mountain views are everywhere in this part of Italy.”

“Good staff, service and clean, but the building is old in comparison to the pictures, availability of restaurants is less, we got food from the departmental store which was OK, maybe more popular during the ski seasons..”
