“We’ve been coming back to this cabin for a girls’ getaway for the past few years. The cabin is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We spend most of the time sitting on the deck and enjoying the sights and sounds of the pond. “I have nothing but gushing reviews for my Makanda Cabin stay. The cabin was easy to navigate to. When I opened the door I found a clean, comfortable, well appointed place, with two good size bedrooms, living room with fireplace, a bathroom stocked with plenty of towels and soap. “We rented this cabin so we could meet up with our granddaughter (from Nashville area) to do some hiking. It was perfect for us! We were easily able to drive to Giant City for hiking and dinner. We also drove a bit further to hike at Tunnel Hill and Cache River State park. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Even though there were several cabins around us, we felt like we had plenty of privacy. We'll definitely be staying here...

“We booked this location for a 70th birthday celebration. It was perfect for our needs- well appointed and spacious enough for 3 adult couples and a teen. We prepared two meals at the cottage and found the kitchen to be stocked with all the appliances, dishes and utensils we needed. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was especially hot the weekend we visited- all three generations were grateful for the exceptional air conditioning unit. We will definitely consider booking this property again...

“Great property on a quiet Lake of Egypt cove...house was nice and roomy, with 4 beds in 3 bedrooms, a huge great room, and we'll equipped kitchen. Only drawback is having only one bathroom...if you have more than 4 people, that might get tough. Could use another, tbh. Deck and screened in porch were great. House was nice and clean when we arrived, and the check-in/out process was easy. Only criticism would be some wear and tear that could be addressed..broken trim on kitchen floor that I stubbed...
