“Very nice cabins well appointed furnishings and bedding. Quaint and rustic. I stayed in the cabins Friday but since no cabin was available Saturday they did have a tree house... Yes a treehouse... Available on Saturday. I really didn't feel like finding a different place so I took the tree house... But I didn't read the description. I just figured it was the same as the cabin but a treehouse. And I'm leaving 5 stars because they shouldn't pay the price for my hurry to book the room before...

“I specialize in the identification and removal of mold and other hazardous materials in hospitals and sensitive areas. There was visible mold, active leaks, and the smell of mildew throughout. The pictures were very misleading. The real problem here is we were visiting the area for an industry event (healthcare construction) and I brought a representative from a local healthcare facility who just so happened to be immunocompromised and battling cancer. Thats not a good look. I won't stay here...

“The place is very clean and comfortable. The porch is wonderful to sit and relax or play checkers. We stayed during Hurricane Helene and Tammy was always checking to see if we were okay. Even asked for us to let her know we made it back home safe. Tammy and Bob are a wonderful couple. We would definitely book again. ”

“Owners provided history of the home and is beautifully decorated and clean. Close to everything you need. The owners were also very knowledgeable with resources in the area with the hurricane that came through. I’m glad that they had an opening because I had a reservation at a motel and was canceled and this home was reasonably priced and was in the area that I needed to be. Thank You Christine and Steve for all your help with resources it really helped.”

“Needed a vacation in the mountains to get away from the heat and to have a good time before our oldest goes off to college next month. Cabin is in a secluded area with only a couple cabins near it, nice and quiet, but close to fishing, tubing, restraurants and shopping for the girls.
