“We had the best time. The property is exactly as described and shown in the photos. Melissa was amazing to work with from the booking process through check out. It was our first time in Oak Island and we loved it. The location of the house is great- right between the ocean and the intercostal. Melissa shared recommendations for restaurants and everything we tried was fantastic. Our whole family had an amazing time and want to go back. ”

“Latane was a very welcoming , friendly & helpful host. The IH is close to restaurants, 49th St beach access & neighborhood is quiet—great for walking, biking & running. For those not keen on those activities, Latane has a very nice golf cart for rent—perfect for exploring Oak Island. Would stay here again! Thank you! ”

Having the golf cart was a lot of fun and the owners were thoughtful enough to give specific directions on paths to stay compliant with the golf cart. This property had all the essentials you’d need-coffee makers, beach equipment, beach towels, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here! ”

We spent two weeks there with several family members visiting during that time. What a wonderful vacation! Laura was a gracious and responsive host.
