“Stayed here to go to Killington. K1 base lodge is just 20 minutes away but SkyShip lodge is just 10 and has easy parking if you get there before 10. House is located directly on a major through-road, but noise machines are provided in every room and they work pretty well. Kitchen and living space is large, house is well maintained, updated and charming. Long Trail brewpub being 3 minutes away was also very nice. Bring lots of groceries with you though, the big grocers are pretty far. That said,...

“Our biggest issue is that the listing says 3 bedrooms, 1 with a queen, 1 with twin bunks, and 1 with a queen and 2 twins. But it’s actually a full with 2 twins—a bouncy, mushy full. The twins in that room are paper thin mattresses on boards and they felt a bit like 2x4’s, so I’d only recommend them for kids, even though they were roomy twins. This presented a major issue in our vacation. We surprised my older parents by inviting them for part of it and were happy to give them the queen. This...

“We had a wonderful stay- the house was very clean and comfortable, seeing the river and being amongst the trees was so relaxing. The house is decorated well, serene and neat. The property owner was very responsive and communicative, we had no issues. East check in and out.”

“Me and my boyfriend came to stay here for a little skiing getaway for my birthday! It was everything and more we could have imagined! It was clean and SO cozy! It also was such a close distance to all of the mountains making our getaway perfect! Ellen was by far the best host I’ve ever had, she made sure we had everything we needed and was so welcoming! Whenever I’m back in the area I will for sure stay there again! Highly highly highly recommend!”

“Stayed with my trainer for show at GMHA. Place is lovely and clean, rooms are large, great Wi-Fi so I could do work in evenings. I don’t sleep well away from my own bed normally but the beds are really comfortable and linens and towels soft. I slept great- to my surprise. Also lots of nice places to eat nearby and close to showgrounds. Manager incredibly fast at communicating. Hope it’s available next year- we will be back!”
