“Beautiful home conveniently located to town, downhill and cross country skiing. Kitchen is well appointed. View from the balcony is impressive. One minor suggestion: please include a broom and dust pan in case guests need to do a little minor cleaning.”

“The house is in a great location for skiing at Stratton! 5 mins drive to the base or shuttle service running every 30 mins. Perfect for a cozy ski weekend with the fireplace. We enjoyed it very much! ”

“Six of us women from Vermont golf courses stayed while playing a tournament at Haystack Country Club. The house suited us perfectly. We had some issues with the bathtub plumbing not turning off but we had prompt attention from a service person. The house had a great kitchen and tv to accommodate us.”

“We had 9 people in 2 family units staying at house. Then about another 6 that came each night to hang out. Plenty of room. 3 living room areas for everyone to spread out. Best stocked home EVER!!! There was literally everything and anything that we needed…..and then some. Inside sauna so cool. Unfortunately way too cold to go out and enjoy the hot tub. Decorations beyond beautiful. Owner very quick with communication. Highly recommend staying here. ”

“We were highly impressed with the location of the cabin. Upon our arrival in early January, we were greeted by a picturesque winter scene that exceeded our expectations. The cabin itself was exactly as depicted in the photos, having all the indoor/outdoor space was a huge plus and the communication with the owner was outstanding from the moment of booking through to our departure. We highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to return in the future.”

“Our trip this past weekend to Chalet O'Bear was just what we wanted! Booking and communication with the property manager was seamless. Any issues we had were addressed immediately and taken care of. We loved the location of the property and made our stay at Stratton perfect! We will be looking to book again! ”

“What better superlatives can describe this beautiful house!Our very first footsteps were welcomed by the radiant heated warm floors, perfect after skiing in single digits all day. I’ve rented in VT for decades and have never stayed in a house that was this clean. Josh, the host, is amazing. Expect a follow-up call from him if you don’t arrive on time just to make sure that you are fine. I can hardly wait for our next visit!”
