“it started out from checking he left the key in a lock box across the street from a church that’s over 2 1/2 blocks away from the apartment. The video that he sent to find a key was not helpful at all. I checking the apartment is filthy. I message the host. “Location in Hawthorne which is not considered the safest area. However, the neighborhood was relatively quiet and I did not feel unsafe. Good ac unit in the bedroom. Room was clean and fully appointed. It is a shared bathroom and overall very simple accommodations, but also very inexpensive. The owner allowed me to park my car in his driveway which was very nice because there isn’t too much street parking available. ”

“Space was just right for 2 people. Host was very communicative and accommodating. Only feedback is that parking in the backyard is a bit tight and that the shared walls were very thin. We could hear the other guests in the adjoining house talking very clearly well past quiet hours up to 2:30am.”

“The property was super clean and the living spaces were cozy and comfortable. I was nervous when I saw how close it was to the freeway, but honestly we didn't even hear it from the house. The neighborhood was super safe and quiet. The house is only minutes from the Huntington and tons to see and do in Pasadena. The cute little sitting area in the front yard was a nice bonus space to hang out. Would definitely stay here again!”
