“If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.”

“Lovely country pub with loads of character. Located in a small village, in an isolated, quiet location. Warm welcome from the Land Lady and Scrappy Do. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed two nights, room clean and comfortable with tea/coffe and TV. Free wifi, useful as there was no phone signal. Ate at the pub both nights, tasty, reasonably priced food. Recomend the Venison pie with a glass of red. Overall, an excellent stay, definately recommend. Will be staying again when back in the area.”

Se necesita un coche para desplazarse porque Dorchester, la capital del condado, está a unos 15 minutos por carretera. La gente es realmente super amable y te hacen sentir como en casa.”

“Amazing stay Staff were amazing and very friednly, all very helpful and could not fault service one bit Very comfortable stat and would stay again, building is showing its age a little where a little attention would revamp it immensely, not too the level where it would deter people from staying though The area is lovely and being basically out in an open field makes it feel fresh and beautiful place to stay”

“The Brewers Arms has large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and maintained. It's a historic building so corridors are narrow, stairs are steep, doorways low and there's a bit of road noise through single glazed windows, but it is a charming pub with great beers and food and excellent staff.”
