“We enjoyed the space of this two-bedroom apartment, above a coffee shop. It's about 2 blocks to the beach, and two blocks in the other direction to the bay. Best of all, it's right on a bus line. We were very happy to be car-less in San Diego, using buses and Lyfts was both cheaper and less stressful than renting and driving a car. ”

“The LOCATION is the absolute best for this little gem. Beds are super comfy! Bathroom was very tiny, but completely doable. Owners responsive. Olives cafe was just around the corner and had delicious breakfast. Cheap rentals was very friendly and convenient to the beach. Would recommend! ”

“WOW! WOW! WOW! Book this place today. Beautiful Gull's Rest was the perfect spot. Myself and 6 sisters stayed here for a long weekend and it was the best spot There wasn't one complaint. The Condo was exactly as described. OOPS on US! We did rent a large SUV and just as described in the listing it did not fit in the tandem 2 car garage. We stayed in January so we didn't have to much trouble finding street parking. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. Washer and dryer with soap was a nice...

“A wonderful little cottage so close to the beach, perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. While cozy, it has all the room one would need to sleep, chill and cook - we used the kitchen quite extensively and greatly appreciated the tools available. It was great being able to walk to all of our favorite haunts, too!The only reason this didn't give 5 stars was the noise from a neighbor or neighbors - I don't hold the host responsible, but overall it did affect our sleep. “If you want amazing sunset views, stay here! It's the perfect apartment for two people. It includes parking and is walking distance to downtown OB! Make sure to go to the OB Farmer's Market on Wednesday night. We had a great time and can't wait to go back!”

“I stayed in this property for 3 nights for a weekend while visiting my daughter who lives in the areas. It was perfect for my needs. Close to restaurants and shops and the pier. The unit was very clean and well appointed. Communication with the owner was excellent. She was very receptive. I would definitely stay here again. ”

Just about anything you could need is within walking distance. Yes, there are some "colorful" people in the neighborhood, but it's a sweet beach town and we found it quiet and very relaxing.
