“Everything was great, Mei had great recommendations for local places and was even consider enough to provide hand sanitizer and cleaning toilettes, parking on the street was super easy and it didn’t take more than 5 minutes each time. “The property is a duplex that is shared by a permanent tenant. It is well appointed and fits two people adequately. Only complaints are the walls are a bit thin, the back door had the window slider backwards (so someone could open it from the outside) and the Keurig coffee pot was broken. The host was quick to communicate and apologized for the issues. I had no issues finding street parking. There is a separate outdoor seating area that you can use that is not pictured in the photos. ”

For some reason I had to deal with Vacasa pre check in even though I booked through VRBO and they were awful. Terrible customer service. “Overall the property was exactly as described. Small, but good layout and appropriately stocked. The towels were soft and the bed and couch comfy. This place is perfect for anyone looking for a central hib with easy food and water access, without a car! The biggest complaint is exactly what I thoight it would be, the general noise level. “Pros: Easy access to freeways & driving around PB/La Jolla. Loved the private garage, quiet neighborhood, comfortable for 2. The kitchen is adequately stocked (we enjoyed a take-out Thanksgiving there). Cons: The apartment is more dated than the photos appear, the patio wasn't quite as wonderful as I imagined. There is no AC or heat. Bottom line: It was a good place to make our home base for a week in the mild November weather.”

This place is a great base point for day trips to the zoo, The Midway, restaurants and the beach. Very comfy and cozy. Had everything we needed!”
