Amazing property in an amazing place!
While traveling with my family of 5, this house provided an amazing base for us to explore this beautiful country from. The house is large, flawlessly clean and in good order and situated right on the hillside surrounded by forest. We spotted macaws and toucans from the pool and could hear the howler monkeys in the distance (sometimes maybe not so distant) while enjoying our morning coffee. Natasha was accessible and easy to communicate with when we had questions. The lower level wifi did not work for the duration of our stay and I noted some other reviews mentioned this. This wasn't too important to us on this trip, but thought I'd mention it for anyone who that might be of importance to. Great hosts, beautiful place and an immaculately clean and wonderful home to stay in!

Uvita Vacation
The property was very nice - clean, well maintained and comfortable with plenty of room and space for socializing as well as spending solitary time just enjoying the natural surroundings. Natasha was exceptionally helpful regarding all aspects of the property as well as assisting us with information and links regarding local attractions and tours. We had a very comfortable, exciting adventure in Uvita and surrounding areas.

Great Location for Wildlife!!
Beautiful house; very nice location. Natasha answered all our questions and made certain that everything went smoothly. Our excursions were cancelled due to the hurricane, but we enjoyed our stay at the house, and Chef Maria outdid herself on our last night! Highly recommend a meal by Maria!

Uvita Vacation
Overall we had a wonderful time during our stay in Uvita. The pros and cons are as follows: The PROS - The house and grounds were beautiful as advertised. The pool, outside covered pagoda, and views were great. The inside living space and master BR with bath were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with small appliances, utensils, etc. The communication with the property manager was very good, along with help in arranging pre-stocked provisions, outside excursions, restaurant/shopping recommendations and a wonderful 5 star chefs dinner at the house among others. The CONS - The "air conditioned" is a little deceptive. Outside of the bedrooms there is no A/C, only ceiling and floor fans making it uncomfortable to be in the house during the day. The cooking situation was very difficult as there was no oven in the kitchen and the advertised outside grill was non-existent. It made for a lot of un-anticipated and costly dinners out. After several discussions with the property manager we did finally get a grill on the second to last day of our stay. The refrigerator water and ice maker was also broken. One maintenance issue did pop up. Evidently there was some sort of leak in the two downstairs bedrooms A/C condenser that dripped water through the ceilings and created a strong musty odor throughout our stay. We notified management, I guess significant repairs will need to be made. Better A/C and more cooking options would have made our stay a truly 5 star experience.

Perfect Family Getaway
Our stay here was perfect! Our entire family loved it!!! Natasha was such a wonderful help throughout our whole stay and everyone around town was so nice. Even though it says to in the listing be sure to rent a 4x4 vehicle, you will NEED it for the drive away and many other locations during your stay! The kids are already asking when we will be going back!!!!! The pool was lovely and being surrounded by very friendly toucans, macaws and a sloth made it even more special. Can't wait to come visit again with our newest addition <3

Part of paradise!
My family of 6 (my hubby and I and our 4 boys) absolutely LOVED this incredible home! It is so well equipped with EVERYTHING you can think off! It is spacious, AC’s in each bedroom, huge windows, toucan birds above the stunning swimming pool, a sloth who frequently visits and monkeys howling now and again. The property manager Natasha and her husband Yerry is fantastic!! She is so kind and friendly, responds immediately when needed and her recommendations were spot on. She also speaks fluent English being from Canada originally. Natasha honestly became a friend. We were truly sad to leave this amazing property!!! It was the best 12 days in the jungle but 8mins from the beach. The local grocery store is 10mins drive, and there are lots of restaurants to choose from. If I could give this property 20/10 I would’ve lol The owner honestly made this a home away from home

Amazing Uvita Property!
The house was amazing and everything that we expected and more from the listing! It has gorgeous views and is impeccably maintained. Natasha (the property manager) went above and beyond. She met us to make sure we got to the property okay, walked us through the house making sure to answer any questions, kept in contact during the stay, was a great resource for questions and met us on our day of departure to help us check out. This was the best VRBO experience we have had (and we have had some amazing ones)!

Great house. Great location.
Spent nearly 2 weeks in Uvita Costa Rica. This is a very nice house that a great view. We really enjoyed being on the balcony and being able to look at the ocean from the pool. The wild life we saw from the balcony was great as well. We saw some howler monkeys in the trees right next to the balcony a few of the mornings. There were several tucans that visited us and we even saw a sloth on the last day! We really enjoyed our time there.

Uvita - June 15-21
The house, the town of Uvita, the restaurants, the excursions, Natasha - all so wonderful and an vacation we will never forget! In the morning and afternoons we saw sloths (2 of them!), toucans, monkeys, and lizards. We would have loved to stay longer in this beautiful country but hope to be back. Thank you Natasha ☺️

Great place to stay !
It was perfect for the 3 of us. the location was perfect, the view is amazing and we got to have monkeys playing right next to us the very first morning. we saw Toucans, Macaws and many other birds. The property manager, Natasha, was very helpful.

Great Stay in a Great Area
The property was beautiful. It was in a great area with many places to eat along with many excursions to do less than 10 minutes away. The view from the pool was awesome! We saw lots of wildlife from the comfort of the pool.

Beautiful house with an amazing view!
We loved our stay at this beautiful home! The house was equipped with everything we needed from plenty of bath and beach towels to a fully stocked kitchen and even a cooler to take to the beach. And, the house was VERY clean! We enjoyed having the pool right on the deck and loved the view from the deck. A pair of Toucans made that house their place to visit daily, which was very entertaining for us. We also saw Macaws daily and monkeys in the distant trees. Natasha, the property manager was so attentive and helped us with everything we needed, including securing us beach chairs and umbrella rentals at Playa Hermosa. The location is great because you feel a part of the rainforest, but can still see the ocean off in the distance. It would have been nice to be able to walk to the local restaurants, but you will have to drive from the house to get to town. It's not far, but the road is very steep to get to the house. I would HIGHLY recommend this wonderful home to anyone who plans to visit beautiful Uvita, Costa Rica!

Beautiful setting and a great pool!
My sister and I - both 65+ - stayed here in March 2024. The house was immaculate and comfortable. There was a lot of outside patio area overlooking jungle and a slightly obscured ocean view. It was a great spot to view birds and other wildlife. Toucans, Aracaris, Scarlet Macaws and Parrots were among the many birds that perched nearby. From the covered outdoor dining area we also saw white face monkeys and an impressively large iguana in the trees. The pool was lovely - deep enough, large enough, and warm enough for us to spend a lot of time in it. The property manager, Natasha, was very responsive when we needed information from her. The one thing that wasn't clear to me before we got there that might be useful for future renters to know is that the entry is on a first floor where two of the three bedrooms and one of the bathrooms are located (along with the laundry room), while the kitchen, living area, primary bedroom, outdoor space and pool are on the second floor. So - the primary bedroom is not only much larger but also has a better view than the other two bedrooms. There is also currently no wifi on that first floor, although Natasha told us that they expect to upgrade their wifi this summer (2024) so that it will be throughout the house later this year. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Casa La Vista and would definitely consider returning in the future!

Fantastic!!
This property is a gem! The online picture's don't do it justice, this is a beautiful secluded oasis. We saw toucan's daily, monkey's, iguana's and macaws. We were looking to get away and this place did not disappoint. Natasha was wonderful to work with and helped us with planning. She is very attentive and knowledgeable of the area. We will definitely be coming back!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem tollen Haus sehr genossen. Es war sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Wir hatten täglich Besuch von einem Tucan Pärchen. Stunning!
Everything about the property was amazing! The location was perfect, the pool was amazing, the beds were extremely comfortable. Tons of wildlife - birds, monkeys, and the daily visit from the toucans. Amazing view of the pacific. I highly recommend having dinner prepared by the private chef, we had it our arrival day - it was absolutely delicious and so nice not to have to worry about figuring out dinner after a long travel day. Natasha was very responsive and great to work with. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing time

Absolute jungle paradise
This property is beautiful and perfect for enjoying the sights and sounds of the Costa Rican jungle. Not only that, you get a view of the pacific ocean from a comfortable and spacious patio. The pool is amazing and the property is lush and well kept. The local property manager Natasha was key to ensuring our stay was perfectly memorable. She was avaliable, helpful, and added a first class touch of care to our stay! Groceries are very close by and the town of Uvita itself was great. Easy drive to Dominical too. You will not be disappointed at Casa La Vista!

Wonderful home in paradise
It’s not an understatement to say that this home exceeded our expectations, and they were high! The pool is incredible, and the toucans visiting in the morning were a great bonus. The bed was super cozy and the A/C in the bedrooms worked great. Natasha and team did a wonderful job. We will be back! The Central Pacific coast was the perfect place for our first visit to Costa Rica. Uvita and Domincal have lots of hidden gems to explore. The early September weather was perfect; we had plenty of sun but also experienced some amazing jungle rains. Tha k you!

Simply Magnificent !
I will try to keep this as concise as possible, but that will be hard. Even before the trip date, the level of communication and support from the Property Manager Natasha was outstanding. I had a pretty sizable list of desired activities (ATV, Whale Watching, Beach Horseback Riding, Waterfall Tour, Private Chef Night) and she nailed them all with reservations that I pre-paid before arrival - extremely convenient. The property itself had a lot to live up to just based on the posted pictures, and let me assure you that the pics, while accurate, actually fall short of the real life experience. The space is impressive, and the full house length back deck with infinity pool and extension is amazing. In addition to the house layout, the property owner Sherry is so considerate and has thought of every possible amenity to facilitate the stay. The house is SO well stocked, in terms of appliances, dishware, glassware, cutlery, spices, coffee, tea ... everything you could possibly need. Also, the wildlife surrounding the property is amazing, I caught great video of a beautiful Toucan that seemed to visit almost every morning, as well as great audio of the Howler monkeys that call out daily as well. It was our 20th wedding anniversary trip, and my wife said this was the best trip ever - topping our Hawaii trip, and that says a lot. Will absolutely do an encore.
