“We loved the central location. The property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The kayaks provided were a nice perk. If you use them, just beware that you need to carry them to an access point. It is almost impossible to carry them down the hill. We had an issue when we used the numbered key pad to lock the door. “We had the best time during our stay! Cabin is comfortable, has every kitchen amenity you could wish for, & the free access to kayaks was a huge plus for us! All of the mattresses were super comfortable. Cindy was a great host & Poe, her dog, was the sweetest! The location can't be beat! We enjoyed kayaking the Au Train River, Brownstone Inn for dinner, Bay Furnace for rock hunting, Capt Ron's Whitefish truck in Munising is a must & Au Train Grocery has the best pasties! We hope to return next...

“Sarah was available for us at all times. She answered all of our questions and was able to give us suggestions on things to do and places to go! We even wondered when she was ever able to sleep! Erie cabin was just enough for the two of us! We enjoyed watching the fishing excursion boats leaving and coming back with their catches. (Kimars resort offers fishing excursions on site, if you are interested in fishing). If we ever go back to the UP we will definitely be returning! ”
