“I booked and paid through EXPEDIA 1 room for 2 nights at Formosa Hotel, Batam, Indonesia. When my wife and I arrived at the hotel (by taxi), the hotel was totally CLOSED for renovation!!! It was not easy to find another hotel as we are not very familiar with other hotels in the area. Now let’s see how fast EXPEDIA will refund me. ”

“The hotel is under renovation so we could not stay there. Called hotels.com but was put on hold for a ridiculous 92minutes. Agent said will look for a vacancy nearby the amir hotel and get back to me, but did not get back to us after waiting for close to 2 hours. Walk in to a nearby hotel and was immediately offered a room. Waste my time, international call time, money and most importantly ruined the trip for me and my girlfriend. I wish to speak to the higher up of hotels.com for compensation.”
