“First impressions- a lovely villa. My experience in this villa was ok. One thing i would say is, it’s FAR! if you don’t mind staying at the villa then it’s fine. So you Do need a car to get around. At night driving to the villa, you have to be weary of the roads as the drivers can be reckless. I communicated with Necole and Tewana who are very lovely people (mother and daughter). “This is our 6th time in Antigua - all times at Jolly Beach. Our 3rd time on South Finger, which is ideal for a quick walk to Jolly Beach. Romeo, Property Manager, arrived a couple of minutes after us. As the villa was unlocked, we were able to get inside immediately upon our arrival. He walked through the tellie, wifi, etc. Came back the next day, as appears we were logged into the wrong network so that was sorted out pretty quickly. “Villa as described very well kitted out with everything in the kitchen. and good A/C . Only downside is that it is located on the North finger at Jolly Harbour to far to walk to the main areas ie Supermarket. You will need a Golf Buggy. Overall good host and I would book again.”

“We enjoyed our stay in these roomy apartments. We were 4 adults and so there was ample space and comfort. We needed to be close to the harbour and our sailboat, so these apartments were within easy walking distance to our boat and to restaurants. The staff were very helpful and shuttled us back to our boat with our luggage when we left. Would recommend these accommodations.”

“What an absolutey beautiful home! At first we were taken aback by the location which seemed "way out somewhere" and then no air conditioning but soon fell in love with the home and grounds and the beautiful island breezes that flow throughout the home. “We were at Shell Villa for 9 days with some friends and our infant son. The highlight of this property is its location and its views! Every day you get greeted with some amazing views of either Montserrat or the many sailboats that cruise through. David & Jenny were super communicative and provided us with copious amounts of information to prepare us for a seamless stay. Once on the ground,Clare and Nath were amazing local contacts who went above the call of duty to ensure a memorable stay....

“The Villa was great, views of the bay and ocean amazing. Always a strong o ran breeze to keep the temperature down while outside on the numerous decks. Snorkeling in the bay outside the Villa was terrific and we spent hours everyday in the water. The only thing missing in the house is a microwave (popcorn lovers that we are). The recommended chef to cook meals in the Villa was disappointing. Expensive and not that creative. Better meals at the local restaurants such as Mama Pasta for pizza...

“The property is very tired and there were no pantry items not even salt and pepper. There was no phone for local calls, the tumble drier was broken and according to the cleaner had been waiting repair for a long time. Towels were clean but most were heavily stained and we had to ask for toilet rolls which were not replenished. “The property was amazing, although sort of off the beaten path…but that’s not even a problem with having a driver available anytime. The house was spectacular and Lou (owner) was always a call away, willing to help, pick up groceries, drinks, whatever. The house is probably better than the pictures online. And the pool was a great size! Would recommend The Carib House, and Lou, to anyone.”
