“De locatie van deze accommodatie is geweldig. En de tenten voelen extreem luxe aan, even schrikken dat er geen airco is als je 's middags aankomt en de tent 40 graden warm is, maar dat lost 's avonds eenvoudig op. Fenomenaal is het terras op de berg waar je naartoe kan met een metalen trap voor sunset met drankjes. Het zwembadje is niet heel groot, maar in een woestijn extreme luxe. “The positioning of the lodge is its defining freaturr as the views are spectacular and available from every room and the main building. The quality of the food was high with a set menu and 'fine dining' feel. The track up to the lodge is steep and a 4x4 is needed if you don't take the lodge's lift. The activities offered are a little limited and at the upper end of the prices of other lodges. The overall value for money is less than some lodges, but if you like views it's worth it.”

“A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Corné was very attentive, and we enjoyed talking to him about Namibia. Wildlife came close to our lodge. Meals were very tasty and wholesome. We opted for a barbecue on the hilltop at sundown. It was beautifully set up for our evening, and we had good food and conversation with Corné and Cindy. We felt very well looked after.”

“Die Unterkunft war schön und wir haben ein kostenloses Zimmer Upgrade bekommen. Leider ist das Frühstück doch ziemlich mau aber das wichtigste war vorhanden. Am Ende haben wir Probleme gehabt dass die Zahlung (über Expedia) nicht angekommen sei. Nach viel Diskussion war dann aber alles in Ordnung :) die hippos und Nashörner sind einmalig. Die löwenfütterung hingegen mit persönlich zu touristisch ”

“Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. ”

“Die beste Unterkunft unseres Namibiaurlaubs. Marianna und Piet waren sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die alles für das Wohlergehen meiner Freundin und mir gegeben haben. Das inkludierte Frühstück und Abendessen fiel sehr reichhaltig aus und war absolut lecker (ihr solltet nach dem Kürbis in Zucker fragen!!!). Das Gasthaus ist eine Oase in der zur Zeit sehr trockenen Gegend, die voller Charme und Erinnerungen steckt. Für Exkursionen jeglicher Art kann ebenfalls gesorgt werden.”

“The worst thing was that Wotif sold me accommodation that did not exist. For a group of ten, that was a problem. The staff were very helpful in sorting something else. Wotif was a near disaster. Property has moved and is under construction. Taking tht into account, it was excellent. We had dinner. We had two people who were gluten free and told them. Part of dinner was not gluten free, but they did then prepare something appropriate.”

“Etendeka offered a very different experience and one which we thoroughly enjoyed. It would not suit everyone though. The drive from the pick up point is over an hour but provided opportunities for wildlife spotting. Our tent was comfortable and as expected.
