“This is the second time we’ve stayed at Xanthippi, and it was just as excellent the second time! The staff and management are superb! Food wonderful and cannot be faulted. The only thing that would make this hotel absolutely perfect would be a small swim/ dip pool! ”

“Spent two nights at this lovely hotel located just outside of the main town area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel owner and staff were lovely. Very nice breakfast and pool area. We were very comfortable here. Do yourself a favor and book directly with the hotel. We booked a sea view room on hotels.com and paid more for those rooms. A seaview was not available, and the owner said all room rates are the same. The owner was great and I believed what she was saying. ”

“Pavlos had been amazing the entire time, he is kind and polite in all the aspects you can imagine, he always try to give you advice about what to do and tell you some tips about the place and area. All the people that work here are very nice also, even that I wanted to extend my time here! I fully recommend this place, is close to everything and the view is amazing. ”

“Very friendly staff and a good location, but the rooms are not clean - specially the bathrooms. Everything was just falling apart. The shower was broken and we needed to flush the toilet ten times.... The breakfast was ok, but not good. We paid the same price for a five star hotel in Athen, and the standards are not comparable at any chance. I don’t recommend this hotel! ”

“Estuvimos encantados en el hotel, habitacion con terraza y vistas al mar y la playa. La playa a dos minutos a pie. Y hay innumerables calitas alrededor para bucear o estar flotando en el agua. La situacion inmejorable, pues esta en el pueblo pero no encima de los bares y pufs. Es un hotel familiar, como estar en casa,pero a tu aire. La habitacion es muy basica pero tiene todo lo necesario, y la gente muy muy amable. Si no te entiendes en griego, hablan ingles. Hay ferry directo desde El Pireo....

“Hotel Avra is a no-frills, great-value hotel with a very acceptable restaurant right on the shore. It is 50m from a beach, 100m from the ferry dock and 150m from the most interesting part of Aegina town. And yet it is quiet with good insulation and a/c. The view from the balconies is as good as it gets and the location is superb. Elefteria is a friendly and helpful hostess and her staff are quietly efficient. There might be better Rooms on the island - but not for these prices.”

“Δεν αξίζει ούτε για μία διανυκτέρευση. Τα δωμάτια μύριζαν μούχλα και ιδιαίτερα τα μπάνια ήταν χάλια... Παλιό κτίριο, κουραστικό, χωρίς ασανσέρ, με εξωτερική σκάλα για τα επάνω δωμάτια. Είμαστε 6μελής οικογένεια με 4 παιδιά. Ζητήσαμε δύο τρίκλινα και μας έδωσαν ένα δωμάτιο στο ισόγειο και ένα δύο ορόφους πιο πάνω. Ευτυχώς που κλείσαμε μόνο για ένα βράδυ. Δεν θα αντέχαμε να μείνουμε περισσότερο. Το μόνο θετικό, το πρωινό ήταν αξιοπρεπές για τα δεδομένα του.”
