Poor quality and service
The stay was pathetic. The hotel has posted beautiful pictures on website to attract customers. The actual room was really in bad condition. The wall papers were torn, the accessory items listed on websites were missing. The wash room lights were working partially. they don't bother change lights when the blowup. The door handle in washroom was too rusty.
The most amazing part was that I had booked it through hotels.com which charged me a higher rate than the hotels onsite charges (told by reception). It was still fine because i trusted hotels.com. But when I extended my stay for few more days, the hotel charged me the same higher price equal to hotels.com and then when I enquired with hotels.com, they were not even aware of this. So the people at reception cheated me on this. If they extended it without informing hotels.com then they should have charged me their lower price and not the same higher price.
I complained it to hotels.com and the hotels.com said they tried multiples times in more than a months time to contact the hotel staff for a refund of 1 day as compensation and the hotel never cooperated or responded to their calls. The hotels.com ultimately compensated it from their side.
I would say the hotel staff except the cashier/manager were all very cooperative but they charge for a very poorly maintained hotel room at a higher price. You will get much better and comfortable rooms in the same price in nearby areas.
