Perfect Spot Away from PB Hustle

Fabulous stay
We had a fabulous time and it was perfect for the 2 of us. We wanted to stay near the beach and enjoy the convenience of being able to walk everywhere. Our hostess Sue was great, super helpful and very kind. We will absolutely stay here again!

Great tiny retreat home for the weekend!
Property was great...with one HUGE flaw. I don't recall ever reading anything mentioning the fact this property is directly under the takeoff runways of the San Diego Airport. I mean directly under. I could literally see passengers in the windows. The noise from the planes is deafening and its constant from 5am to midnight. So peaceful morning coffee out on the awesome patio, is absolutely spoiled. Even trying to sit out and enjoy an evening cocktail and visit, again out on the awesome patio, is very difficult. You have to wait and allow for the planes to pass before continuing on with your conversation. Don't even try to get to bed (sleep) before midnight. All in all it was a great place, but for the reason stated above I might have 2nd thoughts on staying here next time. Especially for the price...discounted price might persuade me to stay here again, now that I know all the facts.

Awesome little place !
Awesome and so close to the beach. My husband and I stayed with our pup for Labor Day weekend. Bed was comfy and linens were cozy, unit was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Easy access to the beach . We enjoyed the grill and had our kids by for a nice dinner. Our pup enjoyed the courtyard and loved the beach ! Thank you Sue for a super easy check in and stay. Would love to stay again !

Beach Cottage
We very much enjoyed staying in this lovely, immaculate, well located beach cottage in San Diego. It had all of the amenities and comforts necessary for a luxurious stay. It was steps from the beach and it was located in a lovely quiet, and safe neighborhood. We would highly recommend this rental.

BEST MINI VACAY IN A LONG TIME
A short vacation to find relief from the AZ heat. I wish I had made the stay longer. I found the location to be perfect for what we were looking for. It is close to the beach and parks and easy access to the freeway. The site is toward the end of the street so traffic is not as busy. The accommodations were perfect for 2 adults and our beach-loving dog. It was superbly clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I did not want to leave. Cannot wait for next year when I plan on staying longer. Thank you for making our mini-vacation feel wonderful.

I stayed here with my husband and dog. It was a very relaxing vacation. Best parts were the closeness to the beach and the rainfall showerhead. We also enjoyed relaxing on the deck by the fire pit. A clean, comfortable stay.

Vacation at Mission Beach
This was our first VRBO experience and we were very pleased. The unit was perfect for us - well equipped, clean, quiet and in a great location. It was an easy (two block) walk to the ocean or the bay! We would definitely rent this again!

First rate communication and response from the owner. Great little place in South Mission. Well appointed and thoughtfully maintained. Comfortable bedding, great shower, nice outside area. We will definitely be back!

Small but Luxurious!
A very nice comfortable 1 bedroom unit. Cooking gear better then what we have at home. A rainfall shower to die for, couldn’t wait to get up in the am to take a shower. T V was not easy to work, no cable or satellite service. The T V service uses Pluto, I guess it’s free. We were able to use Amazon Prime because a prior tenant had subscribed and we used it. The TV would not let me log on with my own Prime account. All the streaming services are available if you can figure out how to log on.

Comfy Cottage
We felt completely at home during our visit to Mission Beach. Sue has attended to all the details to make a visit comfortable including, but not limited to, beach towels and chairs, extra pillows and extra towels. The fire pit on the patio along with the grill made for extra special evenings spent relaxing on the patio. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast each morning and the unit has a washer/dryer! Sue is an excellent communicator and gracious host. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Mission Beach Heaven!
I cannot tell you how thrilled we were with the whole experience in renting this condo! This was our first time ever and boy did we luck out. The condo was perfect in so many ways, from the adorable and comfy furnishings, to the fully equipped kitchen, to the gorgeous bathroom (which is the main thing for me!), to the awesome patio area with the comfy couch and chairs, firepit, and grill. The condo was so clean and wonderful, and it was walking distance to so many things, especially the beach and bay that were steps away! The owner was available for any questions we had and was so pleasant to deal with. I cannot recommend this condo enough. I already know we will be staying there again when visiting our daughter. Don't miss out on this one, you will not regret it!!!

Great Location!
We really enjoyed our stay at Sue's property. The place was clean and it is in a great location. We have always enjoyed walking the beach boardwalk, and being this close to that and the beach was a huge plus. Plus, you were far enough away from the middle of the craziness that takes place further down the beach. If you are looking for a relaxed place close to the beach, this is it. I will say, the parking is a bit of a challenge, but with backing in, and a little practice, you quickly get the hang of it. Overall, we had a great trip and really enjoyed everything this place has to offer.

Gorgeous unit with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the proximity to beach and parks. Light and bright with low foot traffic meant for a relaxing stay. Appliances are top notch and having a washer and dryer was fantastic. We’d book this place again!

A nice unit, close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable, a nice shower/bathroom and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the outside sitting area/patio with gas grill and fire pit. The parking spot for the unit is tight if you have a larger vehicle.

Cute and great location
This cute house is located a block from the beach and a few minutes from parks, markets and bars. Owner is super friendly and has a booklet of info on the property for your stay. There are even electric scooters powered by Uber and Lime up and down the street. The house was very clean! It was pleasantly well stocked with quality supplies, which is not an expectation, but wonderful. They have seasonings but not a lot so don’t count on them for that or any condiments. Our only gripe is in regards to the airplane noise and the flies. The airplanes take off and fly over the neighborhood. At times it was so loud we’d have to stop talking and wait for them to pass; usually in sets of 3 minute intervals. But if you’re traveling a lot or not spending a lot of time at the house it’s barely a bother. Flies were throughout the whole neighborhood tho so it wasn’t specifically this house.
