The hotel has potential, but disappoints.
Pros:
Its proximity to shops and activities in the area is a plus. Room was spacious.
Cons:
The room was very dirty, at least two spiders in corners, stained and broken lampshades. Very worn down doors and furniture. There was dirt on the carpet, did not look like it was vacuumed properly. We asked at the front desk for someone to vacuum at least the spider and spider webs while we were out. No one came to the room to take care of it as promised.
The wi-fi was very poor. Nothing was loading, or loading to a speed where you can confidently say that is not actually working.
To get fresh towels and garbage removed, we had to contact the front desk (which is also stated on their notice on the counter). The in room phone had no dial tone, so the option was to go to the front desk. There, almost always a line of 3-5 people and just one front desk agent.
At check out we were charged an unjustified early departure fee; the agent could not find a reason either but I was told it was adjusted. A second look at the bill, did not convinced me that the fee was adjusted. I returned to the front desk, and this second time the agent adjusted what indeed was an extra charge.
Overall, not a good experience.
I contacted Expedia to address the fact that the hotel featured an arcade room, that turned out not to be available anymore.
Considering everything, Expedia offered us a fair compensation (while the hotel did not want to, at their request.)
