We got to our room and it stunk soo bad! ! Then the only trash can in the room was being used to catch water dripping from the ceiling, there was a nasty sock in plain site (they had just cleaned the room) and the walls were yellow and the paint was peeling off, then in the middle of the night someone decided to vacuum IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT COME ON!!!! you could hear everything! ! Worst experience ever!!!

Inexpensive clean yet dated place to stay.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. It's gotten worse. The beds feel worn, the blanket had holes and were very stiff. We ended up sleeping with just the sheet cause as we all know the polyester comforter probably never gets washed. The bathroom and the floors were all very clean. It's a place to crash for a night. The staff is super friendly. The area seems fine, don't get the thick glass in the reception area. It cost us $54.65 total.

Did not feel safe and terrible staff

We felt very unsafe here. The room was dirty and the staff did not help at all. 65/night? Absolutely not worth it.

I booKed on line. Got there yet couldnt fine my booking. Had to wait 1 hr to get room.I already paid for. Then guess there was a difference in price as what I booked it for and there price. So the next day they toom it apon themselves to run my credit card number and charge me the additional amout... when I thought I was paying price on hotels . Com. Bs if you ask me. Also there is never anyone at front desk have to call a number. And I think half the hotel is rented to people who live there...all kinds of people going from room to room all hrs of the night

Did not stay there, rooms weren't even ready 11 at night, beds were unmade and looked like a bunch of druggies lived there. Scary....

Only if you really have to

The whole bad experience started with the check in: I had to carry my bags 3 times to different rooms. First the card would not work, the second time he gave me a room that had not been cleaned yet (at 10.00 PM) and the third time got it right with a room on the other side of the motel. Not a single time did he apologize, and I still thanked him, only to stare back blankly at me. The room itself was below average (and I was not influenced by the experience), with no appliances inside except the TV. Old bedding. The "free wi-fi" was not working.

It's a cheap stay

The staff were friendly when we arrived. The room had a very musty smell and the carpet was damp. It was clean, but stank. The beds smelled like a combination of cigarette smoke and mustiness. The air conditioning did not work well, so the room was damp and warm.

It was ok

Not the worst - definitely not the best. The carpet seemed really old, and I'm glad I didn't have a black light with me. Some of the other guests seemed questionable, but they could have said the same about me - I'm sure. I did get a really funny wake-up call from "Tom Burdett" (or whatever the guy in the commercials name was), which would have been awesome, had I requested one. But, it was pretty funny anyway. For the price, you could do a lot worse!

Awesome Staff

This isn't the most exciting place, but for the price point it is perfect. The room was nice, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the bed was comfortable. I only wish they room provided shampoo/conditioner, and they might upon request, but they were not in the room. Mostly I was very impressed with the staff. Great place :)

Worst Customer Service Ever

I booked travel for my coworkers who were in town and they wouldn't give them the room I reserved for them. I called to confirm their reservation and even give them the cc # and all the info. to prove I booked their reservation and they wouldn't accept it and turned my workers away at 12:45 am. Horrible customer service. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Go to the Motel 6 a little farther West on I-70 in Independence, MO which is only 5 miles away and they will take care of you and your family/workers, etc. Gave a better rate and took in my workers with a credit card over the phone and were willing to work with me. The motel 6 in Blue Springs is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

If its cheap, don't expect much.

Stayed one night here bc it was very affordable. But as they say u get what u pay for! Room is very small, however the bathroom was very nice. Too bad they didn't put as much softener in their laundry as they had in their water. It was fairly clean. There is no microwave not only in the room but in the entire motel. Worst part was trying to sleep... Could hear the people walking and talking in the room above us all through the night. I didn't expect much, but didn't expect that at all!

Not Good

I guess you get what you pay for. So I guess I should not complain. I realize I made a choice based on price only. The driveway need paved.the carpet was worn,no water pressure. Don't know why I was expecting and iron and ironing board and a small coffee pot. Would I stay here againa?...........NO. But I ask,are all Motel 6 in poor condition? Now I'm turned off by all Motel 6 hotels.

Functional

Easy, straight shot from Kauffman and Arrowhead, and in the opposite direction of most of the traffic. Fairly easy to locate - visible from I-70, but it's not immediately obvious how to get to the road. The room was exactly what I would expect for the price, and not a tiny bit more. The bed wasn't terribly comfortable, but everything looked clean enough, and everything worked. Very loud area. A lot of people hanging around outside, smoking and drinking. Walls not terribly thick - could hear everything, and we were woken up in the morning by folks walking by and cars in the parking lot. It's an inexpensive place to sleep, functional and "good enough".

You get what you pay

This hotel you get a bed, and toilet. There is no proper arrangement for bath. There are not other facilities.

Front desk clerk was extremely helpful. [...] messed up on my room reservation ([...] allowed me to book a room online, only to arrive at hotel at 1:00am to be told they had no rooms). Front desk clerk immediately got on the phone to [...] telling them that they knewn the hotel was booked solid and asked why [...] didn't call me about it. She was EXTREMELY helpful to me)

motel6 east blue springs

Well for starters there were people that you could obviously tel were living there.They stayed outside by the pool the entire time look around and there children were running around like wild animals.The room was cold as "ice" even after leaving the door open on 90dgr day, the towels were dirty and it was just a mess. P.S. It smelled bad too...
